Robert,I've heard that Lee's Ferry is mostly nymphing, so your nephew was pretty lucky to get such good dry fly action. How does he access the river?
Robert, that was my comment, accidently hit the enter key-oops.
They access by rented motor boat. I'll try to post a picture of the boat.Their first trip in March (I believe) they used large dries with egg droppers. He told me all the fish then were caught on the droppers.The guides had been seeing cicada so I think the fish might have been on them.
From things I've read about the place, it sounds fun (if you can avoid the crowds). Wouldn't mind giving it a try some day.-scott
