I had an english collge professor ask me to read some and when I told him I couldn't read fiction because it wasn't real and didn't happen, he taught me that it did happen, even if it was in the mind of the author and the reader. Since then, I have looked at fiction different and when I found the Hillerman books, I just loved them.

My favotite places have been in the mountains near streams, but I must admit, my other places of intrique are the southwest desert areas.

Thanks for the comment Scott.Roberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13741569602659269179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6302953832009250581.post-45951076893428070702008-10-30T12:31:00.000-06:002008-10-30T12:31:00.000-06:00My goodness, I hadn't heard that! I've also watched a couple of the books that had been turned into a series (I think for PBS). I especially enjoy the culture/religion aspect of the books. Thanks for passing along the info.

Tony, Thanks for the many hours of pleasure you've given me.

-scott cAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
