Success With the O2 Air-filled Stonefly Adult

F/V Gulf Ventur was able to hit a stonefly hatch this past week. I had tied up some O2 Air-filled Stoneflies for him to try. He sent me this picture with a little report of their success. One of his friends went back up to try it again. Hopefully, I'll get another report. While this hatch is pretty much over on many of the smaller, local Utah waters, it should be starting on the northern waters of Montana.

Scott,
I think F/V went back up Monday and Tuesday to fish the stones. I'll let you know if I get a report. I wish I could fish as much as he does.

I read about your last outing on BSF. Is any of the water on Ant Flat available to fish ot is it all private?

I fished a headwater stream up there (Spring Creek?) a few years back that was really good. I got on private property with a guy who had access. I thought maybe more cutts, but still mostly browns. The place was tick infested. We each brought home about 5 each!
